Better Safe than Sorry

bFortunately, as far as we know, we’ve never had a problem with theft at our listings. While we’ve never had problems, there are plenty of stories out there of sellers who have. Prior to listing your home for sale, it would be wise to spend some time going through your home and removing anything that could be easily taken, such as

  • smartphones;
  • tablets;
  • laptops;
  • jewelry;
  • cash.

And don’t forget about things like

  • credit cards;
  • bank/credit card statements;
  • anything with your Social Security Number;
  • checkbooks.

Yes, theft is unlikely, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t/can’t happen. Please take care to store not only the items listed above, but also anything in your home or on your property that is valuable or is of particular importance to you.
