Fossil Creek Park

One of the largest parks in south Fort Collins, Fossil Creek Park has something for everyone. Kids love the modern play equipment (including the climbable wooly mammoth), the rock wall, giant slide and skate park. Fossil Creek’s design not only provides a great space for children of all ages but also allows parents to efficiently keep an eye on their busy, moving kids. Not in the mood for the playground? Take your dogs to the dog park or for a walk around Fossil Creek Lake. Or, just bring a blanket and hike to the top of the grassy hill overlooking the playground and lake, and take in the beautiful mountain view. Or bring your bike and take Fossil Creek Trail west until it connects with Spring Creek Trail! Fossil Creek Park is yet another fantastic Fort Collins recreation destination!

Spring Park

[ 0 ] October 16, 2016 |

Located along Spring Creek Trail, Spring Park, established in 1965, is one of the older parks in Fort Collins. At the park you’ll find the obligatory playground equipment, as well as two youth baseball fields, but you’ll also find a large green space filled with trees. Don’t get us wrong, if you’d like to take the kids somewhere to play, the playground is certainly nice, but what we really like about Spring Park is the serenity that comes from so much green space. Tucked between the Siena, Overland Trail Farm and Peak View subdivisions you’ll find Overland Park – something of a hidden gem in Fort Collins. This great little park may not be the biggest around, and many may not have heard of it, but it has everything you’d want. Read More

Rolland Moore Park

Rolland Moore park has grown into a beautiful space in west central Fort Collins. Ride or walk along tree-lined Spring Creek Trail, which winds its way through the north and west borders of the park. With mature trees and foliage, tennis, racquetball and basketball courts, volleyball pits, shelters, open green space, baseball fields, and two playgrounds, Rolland Moore Park is at the heart of outdoor activity in Fort Collins. It’s a great place to take in a baseball game on a warm summer evening or to enjoy a quiet picnic and a game of Frisbee with your family. In the spring & fall you’ll find kids soccer games on weekend mornings and early afternoons. Rolland Moore Park is another of Fort Collins fantastic city parks, and one not to miss!

Rossborough Park

[ 0 ] June 16, 2016 |

Rossborough Park is located just north of the Rossborough subdivision and is located just blocks from Spring Creek Trail. The park includes a playground area for smaller children, a large/open field for fun & where you’ll often see children’s soccer games, and a basketball court. My favorite thing about Rossborough Park is the large field and the great views of Horsetooth Rock. Because Rossborough Park does not get as busy as the bigger parks, such as Spring Canyon and Fossil Creek, residents of Rossborough, and the surrounding subdivisions, know this park as something of a hidden gem.
